             Ricardo (called Modelo) is a professional instructor certified by the Brazilian  Hang Gliding Association, with 29 years of international hang gliding experience  and thousands of tandem instruction flights. HOW DOES IT WORK ?

Meeting place:
Once you’ve made arrangements to meet for the flight (see your options under Contact) you need to reach the meeting place: Avenida Prefeito Mendes de Moraes 1500 on São Conrado beach.
 

Getting there:
- Order an Uber or a Taxi;
- Take the subway and get off at the Rocinha-São Conrado station, exit gate C, where Ricardo will pick you up by car at the established time;
- Arrange a shuttle service, with a reliable driver, who will pick you up at your hotel. Extra cost to be confirmed at the moment of booking the flight;
 

The flight:

            Once you meet your instructor you will go through the registration formalities (have your passport ready); a short ride will then take you through the Tijuca National Park up to Pedra Bonita Ramp, situated at an altitude of 1700 feet (520 meters). Although no experience is necessary the pre-flight preparation training
is an important step.
         Flights lasts between 6 and 20 minutes depending on the weather conditions and  the passenger’s weight. The weight limit is 190 pounds (90Kg) in good wind  conditions. You will be landing on São Conrado Beach. Have your bathing suit  handy in case you want to go for a dip afterwards while your photos and videos
are being prepared.
           The whole process takes about 3 to 4 hours including the ride from and back to the hotel.
